Ximene Rego has been involved in clinical practice, research, and academia. She is a clinical psychologist (FPCEUP, 2000), a full member of the Portuguese Psychologists Association (License No. 6718), and a trainee psychotherapist with the Portuguese Society of Constructivist Psychotherapies.
She holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology (ISCTE-IUL, 2014), a post-graduate degree in Criminology (FDUP, 2003), and is a certified conflict mediator (Lusófona, 2004). Collaborates with the Psychological Consultation Unit for Addictive Behaviors at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto. Additionally, she is a researcher at the Interdisciplinary Research Center on Justice (CIJ), Faculty of Law, University of Porto.
In addition to her numerous specialized and opinion publications, she is the author of the book "A Imagem Predatória da Cidade: Uma etnografia do Medo" [The Predatory Image of the City: An Ethnography of Fear]. She has been developing clinical work with adults and young adults since 2002.
Lucas Pimentel is a clinical and health psychologist, and a full member of the Portuguese Psychologists Order (License No. 27930). He is a member of the Portuguese Center for Psychoanalysis – International Lacanian Association (CPP-ALI) – and has various trainings in psychodynamic psychotherapy.
He collaborates with the Psychological Consultation Unit for Youth, Adults, and Seniors at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP) and is pursuing his PhD at the same institution.
Alexandra Oliveira Ramos is a clinical psychologist, a full member of the Portuguese Psychologists Order (License No. 11187), and a member of the Portuguese Society of Clinical Psychology, where she is a trainee psychotherapist.
Since 2008, in partnership with the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, she has been conducting scientific research in the areas of deviant behavior and sports, education, and communities, with associated scientific publications.
She has specialized training in intervention with adolescents and adults from the Institute of Training and Psychotherapeutic Practice of Porto, and in human sexuality from the Lusophone University of Lisbon. She completed the Higher Course in Forensic Medicine taught by the Institute of Legal Medicine of Porto and is a victim support technician.
She has been practicing clinical work with adolescents and adults since 2011.
Joana da Gama holds a master's degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Porto (FPCEUP), with a specialization in Deviant Behavior. She is a full member of the Portuguese Psychologists Association (License No. 24822).
Joana works as a clinical psychologist at the Psychological Consultation Unit for Addictive Behaviors, and she is also an external researcher at the Center for Deviant Behavior Sciences. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in Psychology at FPCEUP.
